I was cleaning out my blog post drafts and stumbled across this blog from last winter when we inaugurated President Obama. I think it is still worth posting if only to remember what I was thinking on that day.
Today is a new day...for the world, for the USA, for me. Today a black man will take over the presidency of these united states. Today is a new day for our country. On a day like today I can't help but look back at the civil rights movement and remember a time much different from today. Our country will never be the same.
