The kids were really excited about starting school this year. We walked on the first day and we had the pleasure of meeting the neighbor girl leaving at the same time. Scotlynn grabbed Maddie's dad's hand and wouldn't let go for the entire 3/4 mile trip to school.
While we were hanging out on the playground, waiting for the kids to go in we spotted a little grass snake trying to get warm on a rock. Dante had no fear and just reached down and picked it up. He loved it and wanted to bring it home with us. YUCK! I told him he had to leave the snake there because he was on his way to snake school.
