Documenting the mundane

The shutter sisters have once again given me a good challenge, documenting the mundane.
Finding the beauty in the normal.
Finding the silver lining in the every day.

They posed the question, "How about you? What is the story of your inner artist?"

What is the story of my inner artist? I have no formal training in photography, but I love the way I can stop time by simply pushing a button. My favorite images are often ones that were captured completely by accident. Meaning that I did not intend for it to come out that way, it's a happy surprise. I like to take pictures of things that I want to be sure to remember. Part of me would love to take some classes and learn more about the technical side of photography. Another part of me believes that if I knew more about the technical side it would loose all it's magic for me.

In honor of the magic of photography and the challenge to document the mundane I leave you with these images.

What I can't leave my ideas on your name anymore?! I actually like what it's called..TBD. Because my friend you are in a process of "to be determined" the story on "Lori" isn't written yet and your blog is your journey of getting you there...your thoughts, ideas, pictures and all that shapes you. yep, "TBD" that's my vote :)
