Today was one of those days that you wish would just end so that you can get on with a new one.
Eric had to leave earlier than normal for work, and the kids took full advantage of it. There were two rays of sunshine in my day though.
1) I was in tears because nothing was going right and I couldn't get anything done that I needed to. Scotlynn saw me crying and said, "oh, honey bunny. Don't cry." Then she hugged my head to her chest and rocked it back and forth and sang her favorite lullaby to me. Who couldn't smile at a three year old singing twinkle, twinkle little star.
2) Cale actually cleaned his room when I asked him to. He grumbled a little, but I didn't have to ask more than once. He did a really good job too. I'm so proud of him.
